Submission guidelines

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PITCHING TO TIMELESS TRAVELS MAGAZINE

Timeless Travels is about travel with a focus on history, archaeology or art. We do not cover food, restaurants or hotels, unless the latter is a special review.

We like to cover unusual and less well-travelled destinations, and if we do cover something more well-known, then it will be from a lesser-known perspective, but within the magazine's remit. We are an international magazine and as such are interested in all destinations, far and wide.

We do not expect our contributors to be well-established writers - we consider each submission on the strength of its writing and content. However, it must be an original piece of work intended for TT magazine only.

If you would like to submit an idea for a feature to us, we would be pleased to receive it, but please ensure that it would fit the remit of the magazine.

Please indicate the following:

1. The potential length of the feature i.e. whether it will be a smaller feature (1500-2000 words) or longer feature (3000+).

2. If you can provide any images or illustrations to go with the article. Any images submitted will need to be of a high resolution.

Please also tell us a little about yourself and send links to, or examples of, other things you have written.

Please note that features should be written in good literary English, aimed at an intelligent and well-read readership. Please use English spellings and not American-English.

All features submitted are expected to be scrupulously researched, particularly if any historical or archaeological information is included.

Please email your ideas to editorial@timeless-travels.co.uk and we will come back to you as soon as we can. If you haven't heard within a couple of weeks, do please send a reminder email.

Please note that Timeless Travels is unable to pay its contributors at the present time. It is hoped that this will change in the near future.
